Over a month of NFL football is already behind us in the 2023 season. As we progress into Fall, the time has begun to analyze the Philadelphia Eagles' future needs. While Philly has looked impressive in 2023, it is time to dive into which college football players are best suited to fill their needs going forward. Following a draft that saw the Eagles come away with a pair of former Georgia Bulldogs standouts in defensive tackle Jalen Carter and edge rusher Nolan Smith, the bar is as high as ever for executive vice president and general manager Howie Roseman. Considering the Eagles are also currently defending their title as NFC champions, Philadelphia will be searching eagerly for players they believe can make an impact as soon as possible. While the Birds have set themselves up for immediate success and have secured cornerstone players for their future, this doesn't mean they are without holes and won't need to reload again following the 2024 free-agency frenzy. The Eagles currently have seven players who are 30 years of age or older. That includes two offensive linemen, two defensive linemen, and both of their starting boundary cornerbacks.
