As we reach April, we are officially in the month of the NFL Draft, which means it’s time for general manager Eric DeCosta and the Baltimore Ravens to apply their team-building philosophy: build the roster from top to bottom through the draft. The Ravens lost plenty of key players in free agency, including Patrick Queen, Geno Stone, Jadeveon Clowney, Odell Beckham, John Simpson, Morgan Moses, Devin Duvernay, Ronald Darby, Gus Edwards, and Kevin Zeitler. Additionally, they lost some key special teams pieces like Deshawn Phillips and well-known backup quarterback Tyler Huntley. Which means there are plenty of holes to replace and what better way to do so than the draft.
