The shock wave that was Week One of Veteran Free Agency, and has resulted in major shakeups all over the League. But perhaps no team has had their Draft Needs more clearly defined than the Minnesota Vikings. They have lost their franchise QB Kirk Cousins to the Falcons, while their top edge rusher and defensive playmaker DANIELLE HUNTER has moved on to the Texans. They have somewhat already resolved the loss of Hunter by signing their top edge rush weapon Jonathan Greenard. But finding a QB to drive their Offense remains a challenge. Not many of us are buying the signing of MATT DARNOLD as a solution to replacing Cousins. And I think the Vikings recently made a Draft Pick trade, with their new best friends, the Texans that added Pick 23 in this Draft to their cache’, and leading most observers to assume they intend to try to leverage Picks 11 & 23 into position to get someone ahead of Pick 11 to allow the Vikings to move up for one of their desired Draftee top QB.
