After signing Aaron Rodgers, the New York Jets immediately became Super Bowl contenders, according to the NFL community. The hype was undeniable going into 2023, but that hype died right away with Rodgers suffering an ACL tear in the Jets first game. Unfortunately, that injury has derailed Rodgers’s career, as he’s been mediocre at best in 2024. Despite having weapons like Davante Adams, Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall, Rodgers has thrown for 2,956 yards in 13 games. That’s not the only hole for the Jets, as they’ve really struggled on the defensive line as well. With a 3-10 record, the Jets hold the number seven overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Based on the numerous factors above, the Jets are going to be an interesting team to watch this offseason.
