The 2024 season has been a rollercoaster for the Carolina Panthers. After selecting Bryce Young first overall, the team benched him midway through the year. By no means has Young been perfect, but he’s shown enough to give him another year with the starting job. The issue for the Panthers comes with the players around Young. The defense as a whole has been terrible, allowing 29.9 PPG, the most in the NFL. Heading into the draft, the Panthers need to get defensive playmakers and weapons for Young.
