The 2024 college football season has finally arrived. The atmosphere, the energy, the crowds, the student sections, the bands, the mascots–it’s all great. It also means actual scouting for the 2025 NFL Draft finally advances beyond the background and watch list stages. With so many big contests involving so many potential prospects, it’s time to finally start to ordinate the rankings with some organization. These are meant to be fluid, of course. Players rise and fall as performances go, as well as injuries or deciding to stay in school. Not every transfer works out as hoped, while others that flew under the radar create blossoming stars (think Jayden Daniels). Here’s how the initial top 50 sit on my 2025 NFL Draft big board.
