There’s never a bad time for a new 2020 NFL Mock Draft but few times are more appropriate than when the NFL Combine rolls around. Though there are games upon games and seasons upon seasons worth of game tape available for all of the 2020 NFL Draft prospects, the Combine in Indianapolis matters a great deal. The NFL Combine begins on Monday, Feb. 24 with the first group of player interviewing, getting their medicals and so on. What most people would describe as the “main event”, at least for viewers, of the event at Lucas Oil Stadium in the drills and athletic testing will begin on Thursday, Feb. 27 lasting through Sunday, March 1. For 2020, that will be moved to being televised in primetime. So much of what happens at the Combine is critical to the 2020 NFL Draft. As far as the drills and athletic testing go, you want to see if what’s on film matches up with how they test or if you need to revisit the tape.
