So far, the NFL season has brought us some surprises and some really exciting stories. Teams that have made moves in the offseason and have seen prospects develop are in a position to take a huge step forward during next April's draft. Two big stories this season are the state of the Seattle Seahawks and the Philadelphia Eagles. So far, the Seahawks have received premium draft capital in return for sending Russell Wilson to Denver. Given the rough start the Broncos experienced, a solid draft could make the case that Denver got the better of Seattle in that trade. For Philadelphia, they've gotten off to a hot start this season and have a chance to use the upcoming draft to complete the framework to become a Super Bowl-contending team. They are joined by the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs who appear to be the top two teams in the AFC.
