The 2023 NFL draft season is getting ready to come to a close. The three-day event will span from Apr. 27 to Apr. 29. With two weeks remaining until the Carolina Panthers take the podium, there is still some question as to who they will make this year’s No. 1 overall selection. The pick can easily be narrowed down to one of three players, all of which are quarterbacks. The Panthers used several quarterbacks last season including Baker Mayfield, who actually finished his season with the Los Angeles Rams. Currently, the team has Andy Dalton, Matt Corral, and Jacob Eason listed on the depth chart. None of which are long-term solutions for the franchise that hired Frank Reich to take over for Matt Rhule. Beyond pick No. 1 we have another team looking for a franchise quarterback that also has a new head coach, former Houston linebacker DeMeco Ryans. Depending on who gets selected at No. 1, they get the other quarterback at the top.
