Despite Odell Beckham Jr. signing with Baltimore (and Lamar Jackson actively recruiting him), I remain unconvinced that anything can save the Ravens-Jackson partnership beyond Baltimore offering its QB the exact contract guarantees he’s seeking. So, in this mock draft, we’re looking at the first round through the following lens: What if Jackson accepts an offer from Indianapolis to be finalized after the draft — meaning the picks exchanged for Lamar’s new deal would be 2024 and 2025 first-rounders — and, anticipating that outcome, Baltimore goes shopping for a new quarterback? How might that impact Round 1? (As with the other mock drafts I’ve done, the only trades are made by teams moving up to select a quarterback.)
