How are we feeling at the NFL Scouting Combine checkpoint? I told myself I wasn’t going to make any mock-draft trades this time around, but that really just feels too difficult. Chicago’s entire draft plan likely centers around weighing a potential trade haul; Carolina has moved from QB-needy territory to being QB-desperate; Indianapolis, Las Vegas and others are in similar boats. At this point, a draft scenario involving trades in the top 10 feels more likely than not. So, I scrapped my rule and allowed myself a few moves. A first-round projection involving QB moves just felt more realistic. Maybe, after a week at the combine in Indianapolis, it’ll feel less so. Let’s get into another look at the board, this time a three-round projection.
