The first wave of NFL free agency is over, and many of the big-name signings have already had an impact on what the top of the 2024 NFL draft board is going to look like come April. Losses and additions will have a significant impact on team needs heading into this year’s draft, and multiple trades have also filled and created roster holes that will now need to be addressed with early-round rookies. It’s impossible to fill every need in free agency, though, and the particularly cap-strapped teams know they’ll need to knock their draft classes out of the park to contend next season and beyond. As the veteran marker slows down a bit after the first couple of days of new acquisitions, how could all these moves impact the first round of this year’s draft?
