NFL free agency's transactions shook up the league's 32 teams' draft boards and areas of need for the 2024 NFL Draft like a snow globe. At this point in the draft cycle, there is just one projected trade, but it's a quarterback-starved franchise attempting to claim the last clear-cut first-round passer before there is an exponential gap at the position. Ultimately, the Los Angeles Chargers end up as one of the major winners of this transaction as they benefit from owning what new head coach Jim Harbaugh called the unofficial first pick in the draft with the No. 5 overall selection. There will be many more iterations of this mock draft coming every other Tuesday throughout the draft process ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft, which kicks off Thursday, April 25. Welcome to the Podell Mock Draft 4.0. Kick back, relax, and enjoy.
