The shape of the NFL for the 2024 season is starting to form after the first week of free agency. Team needs are starting to come clear with a better picture of what rosters will look like in the fall. One major impact on the upcoming NFL draft from the past seven days was a trade between the Minnesota Vikings and Houston Texans. The deal gave the Vikings another first-round pick (No. 23) and a catalyst for the thought of Minnesota trading up to select a quarterback after the departure of Kirk Cousins. For my first mock draft, I dove into that scenario happenings.
