NFL free agency is here, and with it comes teams looking to spend lots of money for quick fixes to positions of need. What each franchise does this week will inevitability alter their plans for the NFL draft at the end of April. The Houston Texans could be big spenders as well with their near-$70 million in projected salary cap space. There are many different directions the team can go down in the draft, though, which will be dependent on what the rest of the league does as well. With the No. 23 pick, Houston could add to either side of the ball or even trade up or down the board if a player sticks out. General manager Nick Caserio proved he wasn’t afraid to go out and snag his player after he traded up to take Will Anderson with the No. 3 overall pick in 2023.
