We have reached the next big step in our march towards the 2024 NFL draft: the NFL scouting combine. This week most of the NFL draft prospects will undergo a litany of athletic and medical testing, along with interviews with NFL personnel that will go a long way toward determining their fate come April. While it’s not the end-all, be-all of the NFL draft process, having hard data on the athletic testing on these prospects is an important piece of the puzzle. These data points can confirm what we’ve seen on tape from prospects, refute some of the criticisms we’ve seen, and give us things to go back to the tape and look for. Things that every scout will be making note of this week.
