Raising Zona

After the first round of free agency, the Arizona Cardinals look to have fewer team needs than before. They bolstered their offensive line, added to the linebacking core, and signed a few high-reward offensive playmakers to the mix. But, they are the furthest thing from ready for the 2019 season. Since the end of the regular season, the Arizona Cardinals have added a slew of likely starters/key pieces to the mix, including; Terrell Suggs, Robert Alford, Jordan Hicks, Brooks Reed, Charles Clay, J.R. Sweezy, Kevin White, Marcus Gilbert and D.J. Swearinger (late season acquisition). What do those signings signify? They show that the team needs are very different than before. As it currently stands, the Cardinals are in a great position with the draft. Not only do they have the top pick in each round but the seventh, they also have ten picks to use. They aren’t short on different options to choose from either. They could draft one of Nick Bosa, Quinnen Williams, Josh Allen, or Kyler Murray with the top pick, or trade it away for an overwhelming haul of picks.
