The San Francisco 49ers will likely have numerous areas of need in the 2021 NFL Draft with several key players from the team that made the Super Bowl last season set for free agency next offseason. Their plans for 2021 were hit with a further potential complication when Raheem Mostert’s agent, Brett Tessler, announced the running back who starred during the 49ers’ playoff run had requested a trade after “months of unproductive talks” about adjusting his contract. Mostert is under contract until 2022 but should the Niners grant him his wish they could well turn to the draft for his long-term replacement.
