The first wave of free agency has hit and it’s been quiet for the Philadelphia Eagles. This isn’t much of a surprise since the Birds had to make a plethora of moves just to get under the cap. Not to mention, Philly isn’t exactly the most desirable destination for free agents right now and that’s putting it lightly. As Rob Maaddi reported, an anonymous former Eagle said that the problem (Howie Roseman) is still in the building. There’s still plenty of time for the Birds to sign some cheap free agents. Money isn’t exactly growing on trees for other teams around the league either. This offseason has been different from a salary cap standpoint due to COVID-19 issues.
