The Miami Dolphins are riding high this offseason. After hiring Mike McDaniel to be their head coach, the overhaul that many called for happened pretty quickly in free agency. Miami added two running backs who fit the mold as one-cut explosive players, first signing Chase Edmonds and bringing in a familiar face for McDaniel, Raheem Mostert. Then came the big fish. The Dolphins, like many teams have this offseason, set the NFL sphere ablaze, acquiring Tyreek Hill just hours after the Chiefs allowed Hill to seek a trade. They had to trade five draft picks for Hill, including picks 29 and 50 in the 2022 NFL Draft. Pairing up Hill, who is a threat to score from anywhere on the field, with Jaylen Waddle, is a fantastic process that has fans and analysts excited for the season. The offensive line needed a big boost, and Terron Armstead should provide that, as the Dolphins signed the former Saints tackle to a relatively cheap five-year deal. Armstead should anchor a group that needs serious help in pass protection.
