We’re just 10 days away from the 2024 NFL draft, and just like every other team in the league, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are putting the finishing touches on their preparations for this year’s event. The Bucs head into this year’s draft with far more needs than draft picks, which means they could be open to moving around on the board in an effort to add more selections. They need upgrades at both left guard and center, another blue-chip edge rusher, a new starter at inside linebacker, more help at cornerback, and improved depth at multiple positions on both sides of the ball. There are multiple ways to create more draft capital, from trading down in early rounds, to moving veterans off your roster in return for additional picks. The Bucs have already started that process by trading cornerback Carlton Davis III and netting an extra third-round pick, but they could make more moves during the draft to create even more extra selections.
