The Arizona Cardinals currently hold the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. In today’s mock draft, the new regime sticks with quarterback Kyler Murray instead of replacing him with one of Drake Maye or Caleb Williams. In doing so, the team acquires multiple high-end draft picks by moving down the board a few spots. With the Patriots jumping from No. 4 to No. 2, this allows the Cardinals to still land one of the premier prospects on the board. Murray is set to return to the field against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 10. It gives head coach Jonathan Gannon a chance to build positive momentum heading into the upcoming offseason. After the trade with the Patriots, Arizona will have no shortage of flexibility when it comes to assembling a competitive roster around its franchise signal-caller.
