Time for another manic mock draft Monday! The Lions have done a tremendous job addressing the defense through trades and free agency. Players such as Carlton Davis III, Marcus Davenport, and D.J. Reader will be big difference-makers, but more is needed. The secondary is still thin despite the additions being made, so a trade up makes sense to get ahead of other teams in the 2024 NFL Draft. In this mock draft, the Lions trade up to get the top cornerback while also filling in holes on the depth chart in the later rounds. Several starters are rounded out by role players who can make a difference deep in the season.
