The Las Vegas Raiders will go into the 2024 NFL Draft with some solid draft capital, which is great news considering all the holes they have to fill on their roster going into this offseason. On Friday, the first piece of the puzzle was put in place for the Raiders, as Antonio Pierce was named the team's head coach. Now, the Raiders have to figure out the general manager position, and most believe Champ Kelly will join Pierce in shedding his interim label. Kelly made some solid moves for the Raiders down the stretch of the 2023 season, most notably adding cornerback Jack Jones, so the hope is that he can get it right in free agency this offseason. The biggest hurdle for Kelly, however, is going to be getting it right during the 2024 NFL Draft. The Raiders have had far too many misses in recent drafts, especially in the first round, so it will be interesting to see how the young general manager attacks the event this April.
