Windy City Gridiron

With Matt Eberflus fired and the playoffs feeling like an insurmountable feat, the Bears have seen their fanbase start to focus on the 2025 NFL Draft. At 4-8 with a difficult schedule ahead, the Bears have quite the difficult road ahead of them closing out the 2024 season. Not all hope is lost, though — they’ll likely have a selection in the first half of Round 1, and they have the Panthers’ second-round pick, who at 3-9 seem unlikely to make the playoffs, too. The Bears have a substantially better roster than when Ryan Poles first took over as general manager in 2022, but it’s hardly a finished product. They will rely heavily on the draft to find young talents to build around on both sides of the ball.
