This 2025 NFL Mock Draft carries forward the momentum that the Los Angeles Chargers first generated in the 2024 NFL Draft cycle, when they added standouts such as Joe Alt, Ladd McConkey, and Junior Colson. Things are looking up already under Jim Harbaugh. There’s a sense that the trenches and the ground game will be emphasized more, taking pressure off of Justin Herbert while also allowing the franchise quarterback to play at his best. From a roster standpoint, the Chargers still have plenty of work to do — both with their overall depth and their top-end talent. That said, the 2025 NFL Draft will give them an opportunity to close the gap — particularly on defense, where there’s more to accomplish.
