The Jacksonville Jaguars are leagues better than they were two years ago under Urban Meyer. But after consecutive 9-8 seasons with Doug Pederson at the helm, they’re in danger of stalling out in an unforgiving AFC. On paper, the Jaguars have enough to stay competitive with the rest of the NFL. Trevor Lawrence — who recently inked a major extension — leads an offense stocked with weapons like Travis Etienne Jr., Brian Thomas Jr., Christian Kirk, Gabe Davis, and Evan Engram. Meanwhile, on defense, the Jaguars should benefit from having Ryan Nielsen’s aggressive man-heavy scheme, with an attack fueled by the likes of Travon Walker, Arik Armstead, and Joshua Hines-Allen. All the pieces are there, but the Jaguars need to keep the pedal down. And that extends to the 2025 NFL Draft.
