The Los Angeles Rams gave away their 2025 second-round pick in a trade with the Carolina Panthers, but in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft, they’re still able to add an abundance of defensive talent with the capital that remains. Ahead of the 2023 season, there was talk that perhaps the Rams would be due for a downward spiral. The Super Bowl hangover hit them hard, and Matthew Stafford’s health was an ongoing concern. But with help from emergent star Puka Nacua, Sean McVay’s Rams went 10-7, and made the playoffs. The Rams’ strong drafting on Days 2 and 3 — an advance led by general manager Les Snead — has accelerated their new competition timeline. Aaron Donald’s retirement will hurt, but with another productive draft or two, the Rams could re-enter the Super Bowl conversation. On the tail end of Stafford’s prime, this 2025 NFL Mock Draft gives Los Angeles enough defensive talent to step back into the driver’s seat.
