It’s time for another monthly update to my big board for the 2024 NFL Draft. I completed roughly another 40 player reports since the July version dropped, which means we’re ready to expand from ranking 150 players to ranking 200. Check out the latest breakdown of the top draft-eligible players in college football. I broke the top 200 prospects into eight tiers. Tier 8 includes players who fall under sixth or seventh round consideration. They are prime candidates to return to school if they don’t have big seasons. Tier 7 is the largest tier and features the bulk of day three prospects in the class. The ceiling for players in this group is generally lower than it is for players in the upper tiers. Tier 6 is a small cluster of players who will likely be early day three selections but have the potential to sneak into the third round. Tier 5 is the group that will make or break the draft’s depth. These are prospects with high variance outcomes who could drop off NFL radars or become big names capable of contributing early in their pro careers.
