As it stands, there are no huge quarterback concerns with most of the teams at the top of the 2022 NFL Draft. You could argue that the Detroit Lions need a Franchise QB and that Jared Goff is just a bridge. But that team is so far from being ready to compete and this quarterback class does not appear to feature “that guy.” You can make a case for the Philadelphia Eagles to do their homework on this quarterback class and use one of their three first-round picks on a QB they can develop while letting Jalen Hurts play out his contract. What will the Houston Texans do with Deshaun Watson with the NFL Trade Deadline looming? And if they do trade him, will they get back a quarterback they consider their next Franchise QB, avoiding having to draft one this year?
