The countdown to the 2024 NFL draft is on, which means the fantasy-induced mock drafts are nearing an end. Nothing has changed for the New England Patriots up to this point. Their offense is still a disaster waiting to happen on paper with quarterback, offensive tackle and wide receiver being their biggest needs. They’ll have the option of taking one of the top-three quarterbacks on the draft board or using their unusually high draft position as trade bait to stockpile more picks. However, the latter appears to be less likely to happen considering recent reports. Per NBC Sports Boston’s Tom E. Curran, it could take a lot more than three first-round draft picks for the Patriots to trade down from No. 3.
