The Las Vegas Raiders have been the talk of the QB market this winter as they have been linked to all the future Hall of Famers and a few guys in the tiers below. Twitter and social media are alight with photoshops of Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady in silver and black but unfortunately, there are a few of Jimmy Garoppolo and even Daniel Jones out there too. The other batch of QBs linked to Las Vegas has been the crop of youngsters available in this year’s draft with a new name at the top of the list every week. Insiders and social media analysts are hard at work reviewing tapes of these prospects and doing 100 mock drafts a day to see which of the young guys will end up in Las Vegas. They are also, of course, taking into account the positional needs of the Raiders which are primarily on defense and we’ve done a bit of both on this edition of the mock draft where we snag a QB of the future and build up the defense. There are other holes on the roster that we attempt to fill but hopefully, Josh McDaniels and Dave Ziegler are hard at work identifying free agents to spend all their cap money on as well.
